Accountant – Education Industry (Odoo Experience Required)

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in educational centers and strong knowledge of Odoo ERP to manage daily accounting operations, student billing, payroll, VAT, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions
- Handle student invoicing and payment follow-up
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Process payroll and staff expenses
- Handle UAE VAT requirements
- Maintain accurate records in Odoo ERP
- Monitor cash flow and overdue payments
- Coordinate with management regarding budgeting and expenses
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years UAE experience
- Experience in education industry is preferred
- Strong Odoo ERP knowledge
- Good understanding of UAE VAT
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong English communication
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Experience with installment/payment plans
- Parent/customer communication skills
- Reporting and dashboard creation
